Strengthening Families: Living with Mental Illness | NAMI Hope for Recovery

December 9 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

As part of our a six-session educational series entitled, “Strengthening Families: Living with Mental Illness”, we have incorporated two NAMI “Hope for Recovery” classes. Hope for Recovery is a weekend class intended for people who have a family member or friend living with a mental illness, and their loved one who is in a good place in their mental health recovery.

In Hope for Recovery, participants spend a Saturday with a trained instructor who will offer information, hope, and practical strategies for dealing with the complexities of mental illnesses.
Participants will gain knowledge about various illnesses, coping and communication strategies, navigating the mental health system, local resources, and recovery.
