NAMI Minnesota holds a peer-led dual diagnosis support groups for adults living with both a mental illness and an addiction such as chemical dependency. The support group meets weekly for 90 minutes. Participants learn skills to help them deal with their addiction and gain support from people who understand the challenges of having a mental illness and an addiction.
